The surrounding area also provides excellent mountain biking and ATV/dirtbike riding opportunities. The Recreation sites is very popular and offers a variety of sites, both sunny and shady, many of which can accommodate fairly large units.

Lundbom Lake is a beautiful, large remote recreation lake nestled in the back country desert hills located east of the community of Merritt, BC, Canada. The lake is a popular destination for many activities like fishing, hiking, canoeing, riding and camping when exploring the countryside near Sugarloaf Mountain.

Lundbom Lake is very much a has-been lake. It once produced lots of huge 10+ lbs trout. Overfishing and abuse has knocked the max size down to about 5lbs. This is still a very popular lake so don't expect anything great from this lake anytime soon. Weekend traffic is so heavy it is almost impossible to seriously fish here.

The good gravel road passes Marquart Lake and goes along the shores of Lundbom Lake. There are campsites on both ends of the lake.
